Testimonials

On 2/11/2026 Patrick Dwyer had this to say:
In Early 2025 I was having water pressure issues in my home. After discussing with a few neighbors of who they had used in the past, Kelly James Well Pump Service was the obvious front runner. I contacted Scott and scheduled a visit to diagnose the situation. Scott took a look at the entire system and Let me know his diagnosis. The Well Pump and pressure tank needed replacement. I appreciated his sincerity and tact when letting me know this bad news. After a lifelong career in construction myself, I appreciate when people are up front and honest with any type of news, it’s what I expect. We discussed pricing, I was provided a fair proposal and we started the next day with the replacement of well pump and pressure tank. In January of 2026 I had noticed the well pump constantly going off. I confirmed this by seeing the pressure gauge fluctuating, even when all water was shut off in my home. I touched base with Scott and he came out later that day to check on the concern. Scott went through some diagnostics with the pressure tank and even pulled the well pump to confirm my lateral supply line had started a slow leak between the well pump and pressure tank. Fearing this may put us without water, and a potential new water feature in our front yard, Scott jumped into action. He confirmed scheduling for lateral replacement and performed the project he promised. The team at Kelly James has gone over and above my expectations during all communications. I even trust these kind people in my home when I’m not there. Their communication is great, and their execution is everything they promise. If you are in need of anything related to water wells, with my experience this is the company to use. Thanks Scott and Kelly for all your help!

On 1/30/2026 Jake Nettesheim had this to say:
Scott not only completely rejuvenated our water pressure after cleaning and fixing our iron curtain, but also went through the process of showing me exactly what was causing the issue. If you have any need for well or softener servicing, I can’t recommend Kelly James enough.

On 1/5/2026 Chris Guay had this to say:
What a great company to work with. I highly recommend this company.

On 12/30/2025 Brittany Sugden had this to say:
Our well pump kept shorting out our fuse box, causing our water to shut off. I called Kelly James Plumbing, and Scott called me back within two minutes—even while he was on vacation—to get information and set us up with his dad, Kelly. Kelly came out within two hours and did extensive voltage testing to confirm that our well pump motor was bad. He was extremely thorough and explained everything in a way I could easily understand. He also spoke directly with our electrician to make sure the best solution was chosen for our house. Kelly completed all of the work in the cold and took the time to explain the process to us as he went. His professionalism, knowledge, and dedication really stood out. I would highly recommend Kelly James Plumbing for any job. Thanks so much for your help!

On 12/10/2025 Josh Goodman had this to say:
They are simply the best! Do great work, are responsive and stand by their work. I highly recommend you give them a shot. Kelly and his son are awesome too! Can’t recommend enough. Update, (12/25) There was a project they referred me to another company for and that company could not have done a better job! KJ is THE best!!!

FAQ

What areas do you service for well and pump repairs?
We’ve proudly served the Lake Country and surrounding areas for over 20 years, including Waukesha, Dodge, and Jefferson counties. Common towns we serve include Oconomowoc, Hartland, Delafield, Pewaukee, Brookfield, and Elm Grove, WI.
Why is my water pressure low, and how can Kelly James Service help?
Low water pressure can be caused by clogged pipes, a failing pressure switch, iron buildup, or pump issues. At Kelly James Well Pump & Plumbing, we diagnose the root cause quickly and restore strong, consistent water pressure—so you can shower, run the dishwasher, and live without the hassle.
How do I know if I need my well system checked?
Signs you need service include fluctuating water pressure, strange pump noises, air in your water, high electric bills, or—worst case—no water at all. If you’re experiencing any of these, call Kelly James Service to prevent bigger issues.
What’s the difference between a constant pressure system and a conventional well system?
Constant pressure systems offer city-like water pressure, lower operating costs, and only run when water is needed. Conventional systems rely on pressure switches and pressure tanks. We’ll recommend the best option for your household and water usage.
Can low water pressure be fixed without replacing the whole system?
Yes! Often, low pressure is caused by a minor issue—like a clogged filter, blocked pipe, or a faulty switch. We’ll inspect your system and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective solution to get your pressure back to normal.
